I've been soo good today.. I'm the worst at unpacking immediately (or in a time that might be generally considered as appropriate). My summer has been unevenfull until the last week before I left for Paris. But of that I don't really feel any need to talk of. Paris though was amazing. I spent a week there with two of my best friends and I never wanted to leave. As a friend I got to know there told me - It's easy to fall in love with the city. And I'm head over heels in love with Paris. I've been there a few times before but this trip was different. This will probably be my buy for this summer. A bikini from A.P.C. Madras. Isn't it adorable? And it comes in navy too but I like the green. H&M has a cheaper alternativ though A.P.C's is actually not expensive at all.
I can't already picture myself in it.. sunbathing by a lake in the french coutryside. A video comes to mind. Gwen Stefani's Cool video. I think it's shot in Italy but the scenery reminds me so much of a place in France where I spent one of my best summers ever. Oh, I wish I could go back and be the 15 year old me again..

Today will be a great day. I'm heading soon to school to get my diplom in pattern making & etc! Gonna drink some champagne, eat some strawberries and give lots of hugs and kisses to who ever wants them. It's so sad saying goodbye to the people you've spent everyday with for a year but it's bittersweet because now I'll finally have time to do whatever and by that I mean be lazy for a change.
Later on I'll head to Ikea to get fabric for a project we have with Ikea. Then I'll hurry back to the appartment before the new expecting appartment owners arrive to check it out.

I'll finish my day in a park drinking wine with the lovely people that will soon be ex-classmates..

I've been busy this weekend but not because of homework. I finally have time for socializing! On friday I met up some friends and went to this nice after-work where you pay for your drink and eat from a free buffé. We laughed, talk for four hours and then headed back home. There was a party right down the hallway that I got invited to but I just wanted remove my make-up, have a cup of thé and relax infront of the teve.
Yesterday I was booked for two party, went to the first one and left at midnight. I ended up at Vive la fête, a great new club here in town where everybody was! It was crawling with hot guys. So after smuggling out a pint of beer and leaving it at the busstop I headed home to sleep in my heavenly bed.

I wish all my weekends could be like this from now on but school is about to get crazier then ever ..

I'm gonna share my day with you (if anyone is reading my blog at all) before it's over.
It's started early of course, at nine o'clock I was meeting up friends at the train station on our way to Copenhagen. An hour later we arrived at CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair) where we spent too many hours just walking around endlessly with magazines and free stuff which people were giving out. Before we left my feet were doing fine despite me wearing my new heels. Of course that wasn't the case later on after walking down Ströget for the rest of day. At least I was in good company, thanks btw jolly classmates, and after getting back to Malmö we took a very much needed coffee break and shared some laughs before going our own way.
One crucial thing I discovered was that it's no wonder fashionpeople are soo darn thin. I mean walking from show to show in the highest heels when do they every have the time to eat?

Too bad that we missed Soundvenue's Fashion Week Party though..

Vanessa Bruno's spring10 promo video is more playfull than the previous fall video but just as beautiful. I love the light usage (wondering if it's all natural light or not, considering that Paris has amazing light all year round, and I'm asuming that it was shoot in Paris) and wonderful Lou Doillon, who always takes my breath away, is still the designer's darling.

Älskar jackan! Helt perfekt för sådana dagar då man är tråkigt klädd och vill piffa till det hela. Varför hittar jag aldrig den när jag letar i affärerna?

Jag, som är aldrig blir sjuk och skryter om det så fort någon nämner sjukdomar, har just blivit det. Fy usch! Det är hemskt att vara sjuk, gillar inte alls känslan att vara sjuk heller. Dock är det ju bara en liten förkylning men jag har redan avslutat en hel rulle toalett papper för att jag snytit mig så många gånger. Varför har man inte servetter i lägenheten när man behöver dem?
Önskar jag haft en massa oöppnade tidningar att bläddra genom, som bland annat franska vogues februari nr.

Oh, to be so young and cute .. again :). I must say I was an adorable kid but I didn't have any fashionsense at all at that age. I don't even want to think of the many disastrous fashionmisstakes I made, at least they give me laugh now!
Well, back on point. Parisianne women are all taught the ways of fashion from a young age with two golden rules - Classic and simple! I just wish my mom would have told me that.. when I come to think of it, I think she did but I always was a little stubborn and rebellious.

Surface to air is a Paris-based company with it's fingers dipped a little bit everywhere; they work with fashion, design, photography and more. Mostly it's been their clothes that's been on focus but the other day I found this gorgeous necklace and now it has privileged nr 1 spot on my wishlist..My wishlist never magically disappears after christmas, on the contrary it grows and it's constant all year round. Varför ska inspirationen försvinna till tomma intet när man behöver det som mest?

Jag minns inte längre sista gången jag blev så besatt av att skissar ner mina idéer som tyckes flöda ut i mängder. Dagar kunde gå och det enda livsviktiga var penna, papper och huvudet jag bär runt på. Vad som skiljer den tiden från nu är väldigt självklart för mig. Då gjorde jag det för min egen skull, för att helt enkelt ville göra det istället annat. Idag måste jag locka fram det.. eller snarare tvinga fram det. Är det så här det kommer vara nu fram över?

Uppdateringar i mitt liv? ja, mycket. Tillskärarakademin är tuff och otroligt givande. Vännerna är lite utspridda i alla hörn men vi finner alltid tid att ses, ringa, smsa eller skypa till och med varandra. Kärlekfronten är lika med död. In i dimman stunder har blivit många.. värkande fötter, okända blåmärken och bakfylla är värt de galna nätterna.

Damn it! I keep missing fun events around here! Julien gave his number to my hostdad last night to give to me (Julien is the cute french guy with the gorgeous green eyes who insisted on several kisses on the checks my first night here). He wanted invite me to a beachparty that same night, technically that morning. But you see Dan, my hostdad, was himself out and about and probably had to many beers to think of calling and telling me. :D :D Well I guess that happens. From what I heard the party was awesome.. lots of people, speakers at maximumvolym and lights and lanterns hanging everywhere under the moon. At least I have his number and I'll call him this weekend to see if anything else is happening

One thing I am going crazy for is rings!! And I've bought a few the last couple of weeks. I never thought I was the ring-kind of a person but apparently I am.. I wear them every day and of course together with my also growing bracelet collection. So Rose don't worry, necklaces can still be your thing.By the time I get back home my hands will be covered in rocks and metal!

yesterday night I was making the sketches for my college-application,something I should have done a long time ago.. A few new ideas created and so today I couldn't resist going into a vintagestore and buying a long skirt which will later on become a sort of jacketdress, inspired by the YSL jacketdress above. yes, today I climbed the stair that lead all the way up to the top of Le Phare des Baleines! It sure wasn't easy, half way through I might just have dropped dead but my stubborn self wouldn't let me stop.. so I keept going. And what an amazing view! Once I reached the top I could see the whole of Ile de Ré (thanks to the clear blue skies). You could smell the fresh seabreeze blowing in and watch the waves breaking at the foot of the lighthouse. Oh and I was so close to not climbning up,a few minutes earlier I was sitting on a bench relaxing, listing to the killers and hesitating even taking one step closer.. I'm so glad I did.
Apparently I missed a important barbeque over at David's house according to Nathalie, who was asking me why I didn't go. Well, there will be more to come..

the town is drowning in water today and poor sad me, who was planning on taking a ride to the beach, got stuck in the house instead. Well maybe it's for the best. Yesterday was a great yet eccausting day. Laura, the new yorker turned parisienne musicproducer, celebrated her birthday by having a little get-together at her little beachschack which I wish was mine.. It's rustic, cosy, simple and trés trés belle. Anyhow, after a few hours of small talk with people(amongs a man who looked like Serge Gainsbourg's twinbrother) and champagne being poured and spilled :o it wastime to head back to the house where Amelié,the girl I am taking care of, had one of her famous moodswings.. After half an hour she calmed down and turned into the kid I adore.

This is my first attempt on a all-english post. So be kind.

To be honest this day has been quite unevenfull even on the break to being boring. I guess I'm just getting used to life here. The days seem to reflect on one another.. Of course I'm taking myself out of the house several times a day but it is always the same people I meet. And there is nothing wrong with them it's just thats it's also hard to create a relationship of any kind when there is a language barrier. At least I'm not shy now of speaking the little french I know.. so maybe in do time I'll be fluent. Hear's to hoping at least.

Si demain il est beau je vais à la plage et d'y rester toute la journée. Et je vais finir mon livre aussi.

Valkomna till min nya blogg! Den kommer att handla om min tid har i frankrike och aven mode osv, sa teknisk satt ar det en tillfallig blogg. Tror jag. Har inte riktigt bestamt mig an.
